As a copywriter who specializes in fundraising copywriting, my main goal is to make your donations grow. Great fundraising comes from a persuasive message -- be it direct mail, Web content, campaign letters, and more.
My satisfaction comes from making your life easier, helping you raise even more money for others. Expect the Best: Expect your project to be completed on time. Expect updates along the way. Expect professional results as discussed. I produce targeted content that helps motivate the reader into action, plus revisions without ego.
Customized to your Needs: No project is approached without research and consultation with the client. What are your goals for the piece? Who is your audience? What do you wish to gain? Why? I take the time on the front-end to ensure you’ll be delighted with the end results.
Quality and Care: Some call me a wordsmith. I have a passion for writing (and rewriting) each project to perfection. I take great pride in what I produce. When you hire me, you get me - I write every word myself, ensuring a finished product of guaranteed quality.
Full-Time Freelancer: I am an independent professional copywriter. This is all I do. I don't have another "day job." (And I really don't want one, so don't ask.) My days are devoted to my clients and not much else.
Better Marketing: In today's competitive world, you need your every message to be effective. Don't make the mistake of risking your organization's message by using already-too-busy office staff to double as copywriters. If you have a project in mind, pick up the phone and call me. It only takes five minutes to get me started working for you. I typically charge by the project, which includes two rounds of revisions. Or I can work at an hourly rate or on retainer – it's up to you. Contact me to request my current rate information.
100% Satisfaction Guaranteed: My goal is 100% happy clients – and I personally guarantee you’ll be pleased with my writing. As always, two rounds of revisions are included in every project at no extra charge, as long as the nature of the project has not changed. If you’re not happy with what you’ve received, you have 30 days from receipt of the copy to level with me. In the rare case that you don't like it, I’ll fix it at my own expense, so long as the nature of the project has not changed. Most clients are enthusiastic and impressed with the copy they receive. But if you’re not satisfied, I’ll fix it. No problem. No risk to you.
TIMELINES
People often ask me how long the process takes. Once your job is scheduled with me, I like to have about two to three weeks to write, rewrite, and revise it until I’m proud of every word. But if you needed it yesterday, call me today. If I’m able to take the job, I’ll turn it around as you fast as you need it, or sooner. Let me know the date it’s due and you’ll have it on your desk (on in your inbox), on or before the deadline.
THE PROCESS It’s easy to get started! First, we have a conversation about your needs – what you sell and who you’re selling it to. Next, you forward me any information or print pieces you’ve used before, items that will give me the background information I’ll need as I write for you. Don’t stress about getting it all organized for me – I’ll take care of that on my end. Expect to hear from me throughout the process – I’ll call you with any questions. If you’d like, we also can meet personally to discuss your needs. Once you give me the green light to get started, you’ll get quality copy on time, as promised. To get started, call me at (330) 777-2001.
STYLE OF WRITING
I am a pen for hire and I can write in whatever style the client prefers. My own written "voice" tends to be conversational (which is great for connecting with your audience online and in the mail), but I always adapt the tone of my writing to best suit the style of the project. I most often refer to the AP Stylebook for questions of word usage and punctuation. If you prefer a different style reference, let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate your needs.
